I can’t wait to start teaching agility classes again. Spring means a new start with renewed dedication. I get so excited watching all the newbies get hooked and the oldies attain the goals they set for themselves. So welcome newbies and welcome back oldies.
We are busy getting ready for our May trial, being held May 26 & 27. Almost everything is organized and ready to go, just those last-minute things are left. Thank you to those of you that have offered to work at the trial, we can always use extra help. It is especially nice to have folks that aren’t running a dog volunteer to help as it makes scheduling so much easier when we don’t have to work around running schedules. If you would like to help out, please let me know. If you don’t yet feel comfortable working, please come and watch. We will be going from 8 a.m. to approximately 4 p.m. each day. This is a great opportunity for you to get close to the action and ask questions!
We are very happy to be the first in Saskatchewan to offer the new rubberized contact equipment. It is so much easier on the dogs’ bodies. The rubber absorbs the impact on their shoulders when they climb the a-frame. You can tell the dogs love it by the big smiles on their faces and their increased speed on all the contact obstacles.
